I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

You can reset your password without having to contact us.
  1. Enter your registered email address on the home page and proceed to login in as usual.
  2. On the password page, there will be a link ‘Forgot Password?’ Click on this link.
  3. You can ask for a one-time password to be sent to you either via email to your registered email address or via SMS text to the phone number that you set up when you completed your registration.
  4. Login with the one-time password you received and you will be asked to set up a new password

I have disabled my account with my failed attempts to login.

I received an email with an activation code. What do I do now?

From the email you received,
  1. Click on the link that will open up your default browser window to the Global Royalty Portal website.
  2. Click on Complete Registration button
  3. Enter your registered email address. This should be the same email address that the activation code was sent to.
  4. Click on Complete Registration button
  5. Enter the activation code in the email you received and proceed to complete the registration steps.

I started the Registration Process but then the page timed out. The activation code no longer works when I try again.

The activation code is only valid for one time use only. This code is now invalid. An admin of the Global Royalty Portal will need to re-issue you with a new activation code.

My activation code has expired. How do I get a replacement?

What is the purpose of the Personal Assurance Message and Image?

This is why we use the most current and secure security and encryption services to protect the security of the account information.

What is the process to set up my login for the Global Royalty Portal?

  1. Request Access
    You need to submit a Request Access Form to obtain approval for access to the Global Royalty Portal.
    You do not have to complete this form if you have been in direct contact with your local Universal Music Royalty department who may set you up in the back-end.
  2. Complete Registration
    When your account has been approved and set up for the relevant country, you will receive an activation code sent to your registered email address.
    You will use this activation code to complete the registration process which involves the setup of your password, set up of one-time password option and your and personal assurance message.
    Once registration has been completed, you will only instantly be logged in to the Global Royalty Portal. Going forward, you will login from the homepage with your email address and password.

Do I need a different Global Royalty Portal login for access to multiple countries?

No, you only need the one login to obtain access to view multiple countries.
In the Global Royalty Portal, if you have access to multiple countries, you will be able to switch your country view from the menu bar.
If you need access to accounts across multiple countries, you will need to submit separate request form for each country as each request will be handled individually by the respective local royalty department.
